    If you plan on using the crawl space area for a cat box. line it with PVC, not wood or drywall. that way the cat urine will not soak into the wood and you would be able to keep the ammonia smell from saturating porous surfaces. additionally, most dead spaces like that may or may not be well...

    they are not. they are specific to the length and the control type. hence why you must look at the numbers on your old cable.

    UV light in the air handler and the wiring breaks down from UV exposure. I have used in line UV tubes in test tanks to keep crud at bay. However not sure if it's needed in an attic
