1985 Bayliner 2750 Ciera Sunbridge Resto

It may have been tough as nails prior to the company changing formulation in 2008. Today I wouldnt use POR 15 on anything as there have been too many applications that have failed amongst the car blogs globally in the past decade. I personally have had it fail on multiple occasions over the...

    Bulkhead repair

I would do 3T and if using poly, put a layer of PB between the wood. If not, Tite-Bond III is waterproof there is always epoxy. Then again, I would glass over it as well.

Can you change from welded to bolted?

First, welcome aboard when you go from a welded joint to a bolted joint, you must run the calculations to ensure that the bolted joint is adequate. you may need backing plates, etc as the material looks really thin. considering the work required to repair that trailer, a brand new trailer...

    Engine swop ? about Timing

remember, the 1988 engine is the old design of cylinder head, pistons, etc. The distributor used mechanical weights and springs for the advance. timing on those motors was 4 or 6 degrees BTDC as base timing at idle the EST is electronic advance and gets forced into base timing with the jumper...

unless there are instructions, I would make your job easier and get one of the reputable ones that match wiring colors. the old sensors are 2-wire. the new sensors (for the past 15 years) are 3-wire with the extra wire being a ground.
