    you realize that the crank required to change to a RH motor does not exist for a 1-piece RMS motor the cost to custom machine a crank may exceed the price of changing the rotation direction on the velvet drive. do you have series 71 units or 5000 series units?

    shouldnt need to make one counter rotating. the velvet drive should be easily set up to run CW or CCW as RH motors do not exist anymore.

    change the engine oil first. (never let oil with combustion byproducts in it sit over the winter) then follow your process then pull drive for annual maintenance.

    you may have to wetsand with 600 grit and 800 grit if the oxidation is bad I use a harbor freight variable speed polisher when polishing. usually 1500-1800 rpm before you use mequires. use Aquabuff 1000 and then Aquabuff 2000, then get to the Mequires polish and wax

    The small lines at the bottom of the block run to a manafold. Pull the lines at the bottom of the block and poke the fittings to make sure they drain Then remove the hose and clean out the debris Those bottom lines plug up and your block cracks. It's supposed to be a "single point drain"...
