    Old IAC could have been totally open. New IAC could have been partially open. There are 4 wires 2 are hi, 2 are low (ground ref) IAC should move to close with key on and engine is over 100F

    If there is any blockage on the side that blew. There would not. E enough cooling water and the exhaust goes from 220F to 900F

    Mercarb or Webber or Rochester? Electric or mechanical pump? What is fuel pressure? If Rochester the welsh plugs could be leaking If fuel pressure is too high, it will force seat open

    Idiots post on facetube all the time. A 4-foot cheater will strip the threads from the crank rendering it junk. If a motor is stuck from rust, it will smoke if they get it running Always use a crank socket to turn a motor from the crank snout

    Don't back it in so far. No need to change anything other than how far you back in.

    Are you just leaving the trim set for WOT running? If so, that is your problem You should be using the trim on the holeshot. Full down when you take off, and start trimming up once the boat starts to level off. Once it starts to porpoise, tap it down a smidge
