    any fresh water cooled block will have rust. its the nature of the beast yours looks to be fresh water only. replace the the waterpump as the housing looks sketchy

    welcome aboard. what are the spec's beam, length, etc? for a pure in-board, I would look at one of the later LS or LT packages If you are building your drive/gear/gland/rudder/strut assembly by yourself, find a late-model ski boat that was wrecked for the motor and gear

    why? i would get a 3-wire alternator and modify the harness. external regulator alternators went away with the dodo bird

    welcome aboard. the only opinion we have is condition is what is most important. since we cant see the boat, we cant test drive the boat, and we cant inspect the boat. I suggest you hire a surveyor to see the boat, inspect the boat and go for a ride with you to test drive the boat.
