    check the pot-metal fitting on the top of the H-frame pivot. the one where the cooling water hose connects to even in fresh water that fitting only lasts about 3 years

    if its a 1984 lund with a 3.0 volvo, it would have an AQ270 drive on it the OMC Cobra came out in late 1985, so if the boat is a 1984 it would not have a cobra could be a franken boat

    the pump is a GM Sagninaw pump. you only need to replace the pump ($48 from local parts store) or rebuild same pump as mid 90's GM trucks (different reservoir)
