    grey wire is your tach, purple wire is ignition. standard ABYC wire colors (posted in the electrical forum sticky) why are you degrading your ignition system by going to pertronix? the delco voyager distributor or the factory thunderbolt system is a much better ignition than the POS pertronix

    You may want to consider buying what you want vs dumping lots of money into your existing boat modifying everything. What you are proposing to do will cost you more than the boat is worth

    Your drive is specific to the 3.7. However there are othe drives with similar ratios Need to know what caused the drive to seize. Most likely it will have caused issues with the lower. So unless the lower has been given a clean bill of health it may not be worth anything
