    Bit of progress.... had the machinists turn up some plugs for the y-pipe. designed up and had one of the welders work on the brackets that will tie the gunwales to the sole for the tower. Now to get the brackets painted today. hard to work in the evenings when the sun starts going down...

    re-plumbed the oil filter and added the oil pressure switch for the buzzer.... then realized I forgot the oil temp sending unit (will add that tonight) it was dark by a bit after 5, so I started wiring the new dash each terminal is crimped, soldered, and sealed with epoxy heat shrink

    a bit of progress this weekend. with the motor in place, I could not reach the thru-hull location for the bilge discharge..... reaching with a pliers could not get there...... Now not only can I get my arm in there to connect the bilge discharge, I can also re-locate the blowers on the port...

    I sometimes run a few miles off shore, so the added height will be needed. plus the arch makes a nice base for a modified bimini that may actually stay on the boat with the higher speeds with the new motor....
