    Sounds like you need Bearing Buddies. The one with the rubber cap is for the style of axle that has a zerk fitting.

    I adjust the water so that a bit comes out the side of the muffs while the engine is running. No use wasting water since it is getting expensive in Arizona

    Yes EFI is better overall, but if something goes wrong when you are out on the water it is easier to limp home with a carb.

    For a boat that old your only good choice is a custom made cover made of Sunbrella. It will be more expensive than you imagine, but will be worth it.

    What is available in your area will determine what to use. I went looking for what was recommended on most sites, but here in Phoenix the best thing availabe was some kind of fir.

    Our local Chaparral dealer, who we ordered our boat through, did absolutely nothing to help us with our trailer problems. Maybe that attitude is why they lost their Chaparral franchise a few years later.

    Do you really need to upgrade windows 10 by a certain date ? We ran windows 7 for several years after it expired before upgrading.

    Anchor line

    Use 3/8" three strand line with 10 feet of chain. Didn't have good luck with double braid, it always ended up in knots. If the weather turns bad, we are going home early.
