met: (all on my plane) Hal Halbrook - low key, unassuming. Asked what the delay was about and was very respectful. Cliff Robertson - really a nice guy, we talked about his movie "The Pilot". One of the better "airplane themed" movies. Leslie Nelson - flight attendant (who didn't know who he was)...

Battery switch only for motor circuit?

I have a 2 battery setup on my pontoon. "OFF" is off. Ignition/key switch has no power. I don't have a bilge so don't need a hot wired pump.

Should I change prop pitch/ go to stainless.

my point exactly. levity and a sense of humor can get lost in text only, even while making a tongue-in-cheek subtle point.

Should I change prop pitch/ go to stainless.

"I am not sure if I could make any difference in speed or performance maybe even fuel efficiency but I would like the members comments and feedback on my boat prop?" ." It has a 4 out of 5 rating with retailers that sell it." it appears there is more significance paid to retailers/advertiser...

    new to pontoons

eh...yea...kinda. An over-weight airplane can fly ok....but you're putting yourself into a test pilot role as published operating airspeeds limitations do not apply. That can be taken into account and adjusted for, such as when returning to the field immediately after takeoff. But a CG out of...

9 is a max comfortable # for my boat....there isn't too much performance even then though I could pull five teens on two tubes with 4 in the boat and had just enough torque in the 115 hp to make em laugh.

not debating the realistic value of a capacity plate. Just suggested using it as a comparison between a twin tube vs a tri-toon . My capacity plate says 12 people OR 1700 lbs....do the math.

    new to pontoons

Probably....I've got a twin, 25" diameters pontoons, 24'. Capacity is 12 people. Maybe google a similar tri toon for comparison.

Cannot get outdrive installed to the last 1/2 inch - need your advice!

eh.. On the Mu-2 I flew, if there was an issue with the fuel control unit on initial start up, the manual said to "malletize" it.🤔

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

I broke in my new 2021 Merc 115 hp. Recently did a check comparing current with break-in mpg/gph.....after 250+ hours......same.

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

"and we shall see how it all works out in terms of the boat performance " that's the million dollar question.
