    No spark 1987 Suzuki DT 30

    Engine won't fire, no spark. Started troubleshooting at the coil. Put mulitimeter ohm tester on each of the sparkplug wires (2) and needle doesn't move. Can I assume the coil / cdi is bad from this test or is there something else to check before spending money? Any and all opinions appreciated.

    How do you remove marine silicone from aluminum?

    While on a fishing excursion late last fall I tried to do an emergency repair to my transducer mount using a tube of marine grade silicone. The repair didn't work and now I've got a glob of silicone stuck to the back of my aluminum transom. Any formulas for easy removal? Thanks Rob
