    have been chasing an electrical issue on this boat for almost as long as I have owned it. what style of bilge pump do you have? Those new style ones will self test for water Every few minutes. They kill a battery over time. I always install old school pumps that have a float.

    Yes. There should be a tag on top of the v-drive stating the brand, possibly velvet drive or the like.

    No two fuel pumps are “ exactly” the same. One might be slightly stronger than the other. That will cause one engine to starve for fuel. You will need two tanks, or a tank with two separate fittings.

    A good pellet gun is pretty strong. I’d imagine you could find one you like and compare the specs to an equivalent.22 and make a decision. A neighborhood kid was messing with one and blew out my car side window by accident, from 40 yards away.

    Looks a lot to me that you should dig out the launch area and put in a good base. Gravel and such. That alone will help with launching and retrieving. A good contractor would probably fix the underwater part good enough for a nicer surface.

    A lot of those floats are the plastic type. They seem ok, but are saturated and to heavy. I’ve learned to just replace them. When it is running, look down the carb, you should see a mist, if there are any drips, it’s the float. It doesn’t show up when sitting.

    I agree that the rubber is too stiff on some of them. I’ve had to duct ape on a set to get enough water to go in the drive. I quit using those.

    Sounds lik your alternator is bad, but I would be removing and cleaning all battery connections completely, in clouding the grounds on the block. Get a hand held test meter, charge the battery fully, test battery before starting, then test after startup, you should get 13-14 volts from the...
