    I tried the wd 40 trick according to a t mike vidieo wd40 3 pulls carb cleaner 3 pulls.3 times .Sprayed wd 40 in carb and it ran for a couple of seconds then nothing.If nothing is sprayed in the carb it does nothing.If the pump is spraying at the carb when you pump the bulb and you hook it back...

    This motor will run on starting fluid but not on gas.I rebuilt the carb did no good.marine mechanic went threw it same result.I can unhook hose at carb and gas will shoot threw it when I pump the bulb.Bulb will pump up tight any ideas

    I just did the water test with the motor raised 2 inches.Its running like a scalded dog now.I also tweaked the high speed jet on the carb that helped some also.Now it's scary fast Thanks everyone

    Here are pictures .I raised it 2 1/8 inches. Now with the pin in the first hole the front of the cavitation plate is slightly lower than the bottom of the hull.When adjusted all the way back it is slightly higher.Im going to try the second hole first..mI just redid the transom.
