    Adding second battery

    Thats one way to do it.Personally I would connect and combine .Only takes 2 battery wires/cables.this will charge both batteries while under way.Leaving a battery on board unconnected will probably lead to a weak battery if and when you need to use it.Charlie

    Decided to pull parts and have replacements for my port motor and let the boatyard collect the recycle fee for the block.i will pull the risers and manifolds,carb,alternator and maybe the ps pump and put them on the shelf.Charlie

    take a few small screws and find one that will thread into it and when it threads in nice and deep put a pliers on the screw head and pull it out.You may even want to heat the fuel line with a blow dryer to soften the line for easy release.Charlie

    There is nothing easier to use than an orbital.It is also the least effective polisher.Imho an orbital is more for a new or newer finish.Rotary is waaaay more effective and quite a bit of work compared to an orbital but the great results outweigh the effort.Post back if you decide to go rotary...

    Got a quick look today.They removed spacers on the risers and carb and it actually looks like it takes up a little less engine compartment .I didnt get a chance to ask bit I was lead to believe that the spacers under the risers are what made this "dry" exhaust.
