    at my age i've started doing the math, monetarily and physically. this would have taken me a month or more for tear out and rebuild. My buddy owns a concrete business but this last week weather was not working for him so he and his crew of up to three knocked this out in less than a week...

    not joints i know about from an early age, then i got into wordworking and learned about other joints. Not sure how you will complete a scarf on just a half inch gap with the two units already installed?
