    I will order the one that came off the engine in the first place. It had a sight glass as well wich said if there gas it's broken and replace...that's why I changed it....I will start from scratch with your suggestions

    It does seam to make more noise then the original that was in there and it doesn't have the 2 diagrams either just brass and one peice

    Update....got a timing light....started boat to warm it up and went to get light from truck...engine was knocking....sounded like from the carb....shut it down....now what

    I will get timing done properly before I use it again....the fuel pump is brand new as well as water/fuel separate and filter

    Dwell is at 30...as for timing I had dizzy loose and stopped were it ran the best

    The dwell is right at 30 engine idling about 900..1000 rpm...it runs very smooth and no lag when I Crack the throttle

    My thoughts as well....I messed with it for a fair bit of time for it to just start working seems odd to me
