    Needs to be wired through an oil pressure switch. You should also run a wire from the starter to it, so that it bypasses when you turn the key. You’ll find YouTube videos that just say run power, but that’s not legal or smart

    You can use that part number to get an equivalent. And you can advance base timing to get your total where it should be but. That makes more issues with starting and running hot at idle

    Rockauto will ship international and they have the coil you need. Actually I’m 90% positive that the points and condenser for a 1965 Chevy 2 4cyl will also fit your distributor meaning you can get everything you need from them.

    You don’t want to switch to pertronix. It’s less reliable than points. Delco voyager if you really have to have electronic. Just go to the parts store and tell them you need a coil for a 1965 Chevy II with a 153. Pretty sure it’s a 1.5 ohm, but that’ll get you a coil that will work

    I’m not buying anything just yet. I’ve seen a handful of these Sylvan Offshores though and they have major plusses as they are all 22’. Most Islanders are 19’. The downside is I’m pretty sure they all used OMC in the 80s

    You would need some kind of lighting coil for it to work. What you need probably exists. It’s going to be a charging stator. You won’t need a regulator for what you want as the 110V plug should be able to take care of the voltage's. But if you add a regulator, you could keep a small battery...
