    new to boats ,easiest way to put bottom paint on boat see pics scrape or sand old chip or flaked off bottom, can i paint another color like gray or black paint ,how to clean off all barnicles,can this be done on trailer or do you need boat stands or how about blocks boat weighs 4400...

    altenator got hot and then smoke

    mercruiser 5.0 lx 1988 OB794236 got a boat for cheap and now i know why ,but how can i fix this hooked up battery,and altenator got hot and then smoked ,turned batt back off (perko), tried different battery same thing ,are these batteries now bad ,is my perko bad ,is my wiring and alt fried...
