    Never heard of a novo penta speedo?? Maybe you need to provide a part number. Are you saying that the pitot tube speedo cable wrapped around the propeller? If it happened when trailering, maybe you need to raise the outdrive and put it in reverse so the prop doesn't spin.

    Yeah, muskys are our thing too. We use single or double jointed pikie minnows and run 1.8 - 2.0 mph. Any faster than that and the lure action isn't right. I used to run a 9.9 on my past boats, but currently my 5.0 Sail Pro pushes our SeaRay at about 6.0 mph at 3/4 throttle.
