    I assume thickenser is what we call a planer. If you get a twisted board to flatten, take a known good board and screw underneath as little as you can so you don't hit screws until the one side is good then remove the board, flip and complete the other side.

    That's cool. If I ever actually retire I'm going to do more smaller stuff and sell at craft fairs and such. Between my boats and other projects wife has given up on ever getting the garage back after about eight years so I'm slowly converting to a wood shop. Got a lathe at a garage sale...
