    Meatloaf sandwich. I learned about meat proteins while mixing so similar to gluten in bread dough I've been trying various lengths of mixing and I'm leaning to a bit more that the internet tell me to do. I kinda like the extra, feels a bit more like a steak I the chew factor.

    Picked up a 1909 cast iron waffle iron, dialing that process in. Been interesting to learn how to cook something as purportedly simple as a damn waffle. Some freinds home made orange marmalade.

    The other night I took some frozen dinner roll dough and made mini bacon cheeseburgers. One open faced but I like the wholly wrapped ones better. Even put the pickle inside.

    Oh and when you make it in the evening,stir up before you go to sleep then again when you first get up then it will be perfect at about 0930 for your first snack.

    Not anything too special just basic with dukes or blue plate, finely diced radish and yellow onion and celery. If you like cilantro add as well. For sure a finely diced poblano, jalepeno or Serrano, salt pepper etc. Key is to make night before to make sure it gets happy. I also keep MRE...

    Nobody fishing?

    Biggest bass of my life was in a spring fed pond just outside STL that fed the meremac river. In the woods, on state property that no one knew about. No scales but I guessed in the 8 lb range. And about 30 bluegill on a chartreuse forked beetlespin. It was a memorable day.
