    bonding wires should be green. the tank should have bonding wires to the hull, the motor, etc should have bonding wires.

    if you have a steel tank, its almost 50 years old or older I would not use any POR-15 product since they changed their formulations. If you want to keep the original tank, take the tank to your local radiator shop, they have some great tank liner. or get aluminum or poly.

    check the transom, floor, and foam. replace as needed dont worry about the rub rail. it will come back. once you price 50 feet of rub-rail insert, you may want to save your money for other things the transom strap is required on the trailer simply buff the paint. if that doesnt work, then...

    on the 3.0, make sure you check alignment when you are done since you have to remove the front mount
