    I understand your dilemma, have not seen this my self. As in my pic this is the way I see it. Could remove the sender and look inside to see which is which. Other then that can apply some air to the ports to see if the exit on top or below

    Being the old ones there not bad, tad rich but ok Have you run the boat enough to burn up most of the old gas.? Old gas doesn't get better with snake oil (sea foam or other), just need to remove or burn enough to get rid of it.

    Would need a serial number to verify but being a 01 I would guess it has a TKS carb. Your issue soulnds like it needs a carb rebuild What do the plugs look like?

    Kill switch, fuel pump, IAC, ECM, blown fuse Check for 12V at the coil Do you here the 2 beeps and the fuel pump turn ON when key is turned to ON? What is your serial number?

    If your compression gauge is accurate then motor is good enough to run even with the one low cylinder. I'm out of ideas

    Sounding like the pump is bad Could hot wire the pump so it will run for a bit to see if it will pump up

    Did you look down inside the exhaust tube to see if its clear? Every year its best to pull the drive, check gimbal bearing and also alignment. Bearing is checked by putting you fingers in the bearing and turning. It should feel smooth as silk. Alignment needs and alignment bar to check
