    Seems strange that Bayliner states that boat was sold with engine currently installed and you found out that thia engine was warranty return sold on Merc auction in 2018.

    Dropped prop by 1" already and didn't notice much difference and GPH stayed at the same level when cruising at 3000 or 4000rpm. Is it possible that drive bearings are seized or maybe been replaced assembled bit too tight? Any way to verify that? Didn't notice anything when checking drive...

    No MIL. I weighted the boat with trailer to see if there is extra weight like foam soak with water. BTW fuel consumption at 3000rpm doesn't change much if I run it alone or with 5-6pax maybe by 10%. Same with max speed Its at sea level

    That 4500 is prop ventilation as I sad before. With optimal trim its probably max 4400. Current prop is 14.5x19 SS No tests before I got the boat.

    What I see TPS1/2 only max out during acceleration when the boat is getting on plane. You can see it on first attached screenshot (that's from 1st Daicom recording i sent you).     Sorry you feel it that way. I appreciate all your input tried my best to reply and took your advises. "Replaced it all" - did you mean battery what @muc advised or TMAP again what you recommend. As mentioned is new and also verified against gauge.

    I did mention its alpha drive with 1.62 - standard for Bayliner VR5 with this engine. Now installed standard prop for this setup as I mentioned I get at 3000 and 4000 rpm exactly the same speeds like boat during test in magazine. So prop is what it has stamped same as gear ratio other way speed...
