i just recently bought a new 1978 bayliner with an omc outdrive.
i bought it from a person that buys boats repairs them and resells them.
but from what he said is the powertrim is screwed up so the outdrive does not go up and down. and from what he said it would cost about 400 to fix if i did it...
i was just wondering if there is any way to fix this?

it is cracked about 3/4 of the way around the flywheel right around the center bolts (i marked it with a perm pen so it can be seen easier)
