Are you sure the magnet is not missing?

Are you positive there are not 2 magnets?

Well if the spark moves with the trigger wires what does that tell you?

Does that have the digital ignition without the manual advance?

CDI have the test procedures for your ignition.

Checked the fuel Pump?

Float set right? low speed set correctly?

If it doesn't bang when doing that, I would suspect the hub.

Do you know anybody in WI? Pretty sure I have one. You are also missing the whole choke assembly.

Don't think those ever came with one. Look to the aftermarket as panther and CMC both make small units. As far as a tach that should be easy. Either find a timing light with the 2 strk function. Or buy a cheap tach off of ebay

I would be looking at your fuel Pump

Put up your starting procedure. Are you pumping the ball till hard? Raising the lever to get a high idle? Using the choke? Of you are going to use starting fluid at least use the stuff with lube in it.

Check the points and condensers. Also check the kill switch

Change your water pump and make sure your lower unit is In good condition.

Have you tried changing your plug wires around?
