Reminds me of something my Dad did when he first started with dementia. He drained a couple gallons of gas out of his boat and got caught red handed dumping it in the storm sewer behind his garage. Something he would never had done if his mind was right. He had to pay a substantial fine.

That sucks. I try to keep fresh fuel in my tank as much as possible. I use ethanol free gas in my boat . I have to drive a little ways to get it but worth the hassle.

No go on the intake being in the fender well. I pulled it down enough to get a good look at where it would have to be. Even reached way in with the camera and took photos. No sign of an intake anywhere. It’s got to be in the cowl.

Yes, the cabin air filter started the whole thing. As soon as I pulled it I knew the blower would be full crap. I believe the intake in the fender is for the motor. From the little I can find it is supposed to be in the cowl under the windshield. Which would put it above the filter. On each end...
