I have one of these I bought for $50 and got running pretty good. How do you stop it? I don't see a kill switch, and the tiller handle is no longer readable. I just turn the throttle all the way down and it dies on it's own (I said it runs pretty good - not great).

Can you tell me how to determine compatibility of this thermostat with oems, sierra, etc. models? I only paid $50 for it, and it's missing the cowling, so I'd need to find one of those to sell it. Neither crowleymarine or marineengine has one, and the old price was $250, so I wouldn't pay that...

I bought some old outboards from my marine mechanic. This one runs fine - has a good tell tale, but it was missing the thermostat when I got it. Any idea where I can get one cheaper than the one on marineengine.com? - its $80. Thanks

I found one on marineengine.com for $80 but don't want to spend that much. Does anyone know where I can find one cheaper, or another one that is compatible? Thanks!
