I have fropped my lower unit on of my 1993 Johnson 250 V8 and am having problems removing the impeller. I have replaced impellers before and there was nothing to it. Remove the housing cover slide the old impeller up the shaft and the new one down the shaft. I cannot budge the one that is on...
I do not have an engine model book with the boat and I am cusrious if anyone does have one and would know what the maximum RPM range is at full throttle with this engine?

I am trying to remove the lower unit on my 1993 Johnson 250 hp V8 so I can replace the impeller. There were two side bolts on each side that I removed and a large center bolt. It appears something is still holding it together.
I put the gear selector in forward gear, this was recommended to me...
