    Stern Light Socket

    Thank you. Wouldn’t all boats be wired to that spot for the stern light? I haven’t taken it apart yet but I assumed I would find wires when I got in there. I also assumed the wires were in that tube but wondered how they got there and hoped I didn’t have to do that fishing job. Doesn’t look easy.

    Greetings. New owner of a 2016 SX24. It was a rental and the owner said he didn’t want it used at night. There is no connection block or whatever was there for the wiring in the bimini top mount. Can anyone tell me where I might find that part? A Bennington part or general marine/top part? Thanks, C

    1992 Mercruiser I/O handle trim switch bad...

    I give up after searching! Where can I buy an original type, handle mounted trim switch for my 1992 Century I/O? It's an Alpha One Gen II rig with the control handle mounted little rocker switch, not the two button type. I can't even find a reference to it... Thanks, C.

    '06 DF140 trims up but NOT down...

    '54 Viking prop/rudder clearance...

    My friends "new" Viking handles terribly at slow speed. I just met the boat (on a trailer) and a first glance, I thought the prop was too far from the rudder. It's about 6" or more.. Anyone know how close they should be and would it help low speed handling? I'm thinking the previous owner...

    DF140 surging fixed... I think...

    Our '04 DF140 started surging after being run completely out of gas. Replaced the firewall water seperater/filter and did not help. Got a set of plugs and took the cowl off to see the small filter between the pump ball and fuel pump (I guess it's the pump: round Mikuni thing bolted to aft...

    Single lever control adjustment question..

    I just set up a 14 foot Alumacraft with a '70 20 hp Evinrude. The adjustment on the throttle cable at the engine end is maxed out. It won't idle and needs just a bit more pressure to take up some of the slop in the old connections. Question - Can I put the adjuster back in the middle and go...
