I used white vinegar on mine and searched ebay for everything that doesn't come in a rebuild kit.
I used brake cleaner initially but let is soak till I saw it bubbling then used a toothbrush, rinsed and repeated.
Not saying yours will need these but I needed to change the steering bushings and seals on the top and bottom of the transom housing(where it swivels).
I had alot of back and forth play on mine, but like Kenny said a genuine manual is a must.

It was the 100th anniversary of Blue Water Manor, fireworks and all! The second photo was not photoshopped, I never had seen a firework like this.
I can backup Chris' statement. The previous owner of my boat did a re-deck and when I removed it the rest of the structure was toast! If you read through many of the rebuilds on here you'll see "the floor is the last to rot" mentioned somewhere.
I must tell this story....
My next door neighbor whom I've only talked to briefly a handful of times brought my Walmart order over because they delivered to the wrong address 🤔
