    Was told that my motor would be ready today at noon, went to pick it up and the mechanic met me. I knew something was up! He asked what was the motor doing before you brought it in? I told him it was running good, had a slight miss at idle and the compression was 80 psi on all except # 4...

    In the final stages at the shop rebuilding one of my motors and the mechanic wants to take the thermostats out and leave them out. He says we are in south Georgia and doesn't need them. Sometimes it gets real cold here too. Seems to me like if they weren't needed wouldn't have been designed...
