    I just purchased an aluminum boat which came with a rather interestingly equipped shorelandr trailer..it has rollers in back followed by some short bunks then on the bottom it has a set of four heavy swiveling keel rollers. I've never loaded this boat yet and would like advice from those who have?

    Canvas top owners--traveling in UP position

    I'm a new owner of a 01 trophy which has the somewhat tall canvas top..the front has three vinyl windows which adds somewhat to wind resistance above the glass windows but is it enough to cause problems at highway speed? Also, the vinyl windows are wrinkled..will they eventuallty flatten out?

    Fiberglass deteriorating- unknown reason

    Johnson: 17" instead of typical 15 or 20" measurement?

    I ended up buying a lightly used 98 8hp Johnson but what's weird is it measures 17" and not the usual 15 or 20"....the original owner mentioned this on the phone but I thought he had just mis-measured but it seems to be true was as this *another OMC better idea?

    Fuel Consumption

    Can someone point me to a chart or guide which shows fuel consumption at different RPM levels for this 4cyl I/O in a vintage 18' runabout? My fuel guage and tach need replacement but I have a close approximation of RPM when I used the dwell meter while underway.
