    Update. Got u joint bellows glued and clamped to bellhousing. How does it look. The clamp wants to ride up a little on bellow where the stainless anode thing is but I believe it will be alright

    Engine alignment

    Ok so I'm getting ready to replace bellows,lower shift cable, update shift shaft bushings to gen 2 style and replace senders. First thing I did is check alignment. Drive came off a little hard. Of course it's a little off. Slide in a little hard. Good spline contact 3/4 of the way around on top...

    Going thru drive

    Ok got my engine done now I wanna go through the drive. I wanna change the water pump with base. Check water pocket cover. Pressure check drive and so forth.     Replacing risers and manifolds

    I torque these elbow gaskets to the same specs in the book right. I torqued the port side to 28 foot pounds. Just wanting to make sure

    Bellhousing cleaning

    How do you guys clean the gasket off the bellhousing before you put the drive on. Its aluminum so you dont wanna gouge. You shouldn't use a 3m waffle pad. Even a sharp razor blade you could gouge it hhhmmm
