    I just put a Mariner/Yamaha 25hp short shaft motor on a 14' Jon boat. What would be the min safe clearance for the skeg to the ground? I can raise the bunks as needed. The trailer is maxed out length wise with a 14' boat on it. I don't want to have to back too far in to the water to launch or...

    Old trailer new Tires #2

    My old tires are shot! The old tires were 4.80-8 load range A. Wal-mart has the tires load range B $20.00 each but can't mount them. Menards has tires size 4.80/4.00-8 mounted on 4 hole rims $20.00 each. What's the differance between 4.80-8 and 4.80/4.00-8.

    Old trailer new Tires

    I just bought an old Skipper B trailer for my 14' Jon boat anyone have one of these? The tires are shot they are 4.80x8 would I be better off going with a larger tire like 5.70x8? I would have to remount the fenders a little higher.
