    lower unit oil mixed with water, then froze...question

    70 hp on a 180 SS?

    water temp issue on 1989 70 HP

    so I finally fixed my temp sender-gauge issue and I notice the temps are not rising at idle on muffs... I touch the head and it is air temp...no heat at all.....I rev the motor to 1500 for 5 minutes....temps don't go up...head is still cold. I pulled the muffs off and after about 30-40 seconds...

    whats the OHMS range for a OMC temp guage

    so I have a few temp gauges , a few tempos and a red OMC brand guage..... I didn't have a sender, so I bought one, and it reads 240-33ohms. Is that the proper range? On my last boat rebuild I apparently got the wrong sender as the readings the shop got for my motor were about 15 degrees lower...
