    1995 alpha 1 gen 2 trim pump need i littel more help

    my pump got mounting bracket rot saged down and banged the oil tank enough to allow some rain water to milk the oil.<br />removed and flushed out entire trim system off boat and no damage but i noticed in the tank that there seams to be the lefovers of two nylon strainers on the oil pickups...

    fire and explosion saftey on boats

    I am new here but went to marine engine repair school on long island for 2 years 1973 and 74 I then worked in a few boat yards but it was a bad time for boats with the gas first oil embargo . I was always good with electric systems so I found my self building and repairing electric controls...

    impeller change on alpha 3.0

    read everything here and it seams easy with the pictures i have seen linked to the posts on this <br />but one question . when i drain the gear oil i seam to be missing how the oil drains from the upper case to the lower case i only see the water tube there must be some type of oil passage...
