    After you pull the boat out of the water and have the motor in the down position, turn it over a few times to make sure all the water is out.

    Ignition miss or what ?

    A friend of mine has this 2000 Johnson 90 hp 60* V-4. It wiil idle fine and at wot it runs fine. The problem is at around 3500 rpm it has like a quick jerk or miss in it. This will do it one day and the next day it's fine. It has new plugs in it. Any ideas??? Thanks In Advance

    Smoking Mercury

    I've got a friend who has a 1997 200EFI-XL Merc. ser # G508926. The problem is it's smokes excessively at idle speeds in slow wake zones. If you take it out and run it at wot it clears up and runs good. Smokes again the next time in the slow wake zone. I'm an OMC person and don't know anything...
