    Justice at last

    timing whoes & Stuck in forward gear

    1969 Mercury 4 cyl Ser.# 2630006 500 (50 hp) bought sec hand , told me needed timing belt. Installed belt put no. 1 cyl tdc. Lined up marks on flywheel and dis. tryed starting, lots of spark but wont start . also cant get sucker out of forward gear , Any help would be very much appreciated...
