    on my 85 hp force the swivel bracket the grease fitting will not stay in anymore so can i buy a bigger grease fitting with threads the other one was a push in type, and drill and tap the same hole? will it break or crack the bracket? thanks rusty

    17 ft 85 hp model 1702 i am the second owner. need to know for proper tires . i have on the trailer now goodyear radials c rateing rated for 1360 pounds if i remember it correctly. had a flat last week rode on the tire trying to get out of traffic so the tire is shot. but i dont see any holes...

    ready to get my boat ready for the summer and just wanted to know ,should i fire up the motor first and let it run for a few minutes then change it or uncover the boat and change the oil then fire it up for the first time this season? thanks russ.

    83 johnson is that suppose to have a trailer bar lock for when i am trailering the boat the motor has something to rest on? right now i am just lifting the motor up until it locks and tie strapping it down so she wont bounce around. before i tied her down it bounced and broke the right side...
