    On a Mikuni 1985-1988 70 hp replacement oil pump, does the spring where the oil pump linkage attaches have a specific adjustment? Should this linkage arm on the oil pump close quickly to the less oil position when the linkage is disconnected?

    1985-1988 70hp & 90hp Mikuni Oil Pump

    A Mikuni oil pump, Yamaha part # 6H1-WS132-00-00, has replaced the original oil pump. This new oil pump requires external check valves and a different linkage. Does anyone know where the installation instructions for this new oil pump may be found? They are not included with the oil pump.

    Correct Spark Plug for a 1962 Evinrude V-4 75hp

    I have a 1962 model 50931A Evinrude Starflite IV 75 hp. I have the original parts manual and owner's manual which lists a Champion J4J which has been replaced by a Champion J4C.
