anyone know what the temp should be for an 1986 omc with a 3.0 gmc engine should run? mines running around 160 at 3000 rmp about 130 to 140 at low speed.thanks a lot!
heres a question that i get a lot of differnt answers on..IS THE OIL OR GREASE HAVE TO BE ADDED TO BOTH THE LOWER PLUG AND ALSO THE DIP STICK AT THE TOP OF THE UNIT? ARE THERE TWO SEPERET CHAMBERS IN THE UNIT? OR WHEN I CHECK THE DIP STICK AND THE OIL IS AT THE MARK<IS THIS CHECKING THE WHOLE...

i keep seeing posts of how the old iron dude engines are..maybe someone can tell what type of noise these engines really make.hell.mine just had the crank turned and new lower bearings.sounds like the thing is going to blow apart.but the oil presure is around 40 or so at 3000 rpm's and around 25...
