    Pee's warm water?

    I have a 1996 4hp evinrude mdl# E4rled and it starts fine pumps water well but after warmed up the pee stream is luke-warm to warm while the water in the barrel is cold. Is there a t-stat on this little motor? or is this normal temp for the pee stream Thanks

    Just bought a Evinrude 4hp and looking for year so i can order some parts. I'm having trouble finding what year though. Model #4606M Serial # E0004153 Looked at the evinrude web-site and had no luck. It looks like late 60's to early 70's. Does anybody out there know what year?? Thanks
