    Name for connector “nut”(?) for fuel line to fuel pump nipple

    Replacing aluminum fuel line with braided fuel line. Looking for proper name of the “nut” need to connect two ends. Green circled part is old connector. Red section needs to be joined by same sorta nut. Like an extended, wider nut. Trying to do a search with more accurate name.

    Ultra Black or RTV silicone?

    I just bought some Permatex Ultra Black to do the oil pan gasket and water pump gasket. I just found some generic RTV, temp goes to 375’F, in my garage. Can I use this or better to use Ultra Black (temp 450’F)?
