    $500 for a marine survey??

    I am buying a 1998 Regal 2500 LSR, but before I buy it I want a full inspection done on it. I called the only marine surveyer in Arkansas and he charges $500!!! Is it worth it? Should I just take it to a local Marina and have it inspected there? They charge around $100 per hour for service work...
