    flywheel removal

    Hey guys, i'm going to be pulling the flywheel from my 82 merc 25HP soon, but have a few questions. Is it necessary to mark my flywheel to ensure timing is'nt affected?     help with adapter plate

    Hey Guys, got an 82 merc 25, my exhaust tube is mostly gone and disconnected from the adapter plate, lower units off, powerhead is off. I have the clamps and swivel bracket as well as the driveshaft housing still attached to the boat. I can't find instructions for how to remove the adapter...
