    Preparing a number of parts for painting. The tilt gear is completely corroded. Is there a solvent I can stick the gear in to clean it up or am I faced with replacing it or trying to clean it by hand?

    Ball Gear Wearing Poll

    The picture below is on Ebay claiming 80% life left on Gear (20% Wear?). I asked sometime back what wear looks like so I could judge the gear on my Intermediate casing. Mine does not appear to be as worn. I would like to know from everyone what kind of percentage wear this gear has?

    I.D. Info found on Intermediate Casing

    While stripping paint from my Intermediate Casing, I found the following Information on the top of the casing near the filler plug: 2205A There was the letter "G" couple of inches to the left of this number. Any clues as to what this number may represent?

    75-76 OMC Drive Exhaust Seal

    There is a seal on the Upper Gear Case that I am not sure what to look for in regards tp wear. It is a Hard seal with a spring inside it where the Exhaust Port on the Itermediate Casing mates with the Drive when it is in the down position. Any guidance in determining whether it should be replaced?
