    9.9 Yamaha Black oil stuff out of prop hub?

    Yamaha, 9.9 MSHX, 1999 engine. Just bought it from a guy and ran it to test and there is this black oil (exhaust smelling) dripping out around the prop and out of the center of the prop hub. Need Ideas if this is a problem with the engine or over oil to gas mix?

    1987, Mercruiser 5.7L engins have Mando 55amp alt. want to install Delco 72amp alt. single wire. Is this easily done by getting rid of the red and purple excite wires? All I need to do is attach the orange to battery wire?

    Inboard prop shaft seals drip rate

    Wellcraft St. Tropez 1987, twin 454's. Prop shaft seals are running water in bilge not dripping as should. Would like quick run down on adjusting nuts and correct drip rate. Would it be easier to swap out to dripless seal system?

    Drinking water pump St. Torpez

    Wellcraft, Jaspco water pump for sink and shower, every 60 seconds or so will give short prrrrupp as it pressures up. No leaks in taps or water pipe connections. need to know if there is a valve in the pump that can go weak and leak off pressure back to tank side?
