VRO replacement pump suggestions

Anyone know the correct "fuel only" replacement pump number for a 91' 70 HP rude?? I've pre-mixed for years and now I'm going to replace the pump, but have no need for the oil side. Just need a fuel only replacement pump. Or should I just rebuild it if there is a kit that will work? Any ideas??

    Prop for pontoon

    Hey all

Was looking at getting a new prop for my toon this spring. Running a 1991 Evinrude 70 HP with a Michigan 14" X 13" at 5800 RPMs right now on a 24' 2-log toon. Top speed right now is 21 MPH GPS. Looking for something that will perform better all around, but mainly top end speed...

    Thermostat or Vernatherm??

    Hello all

Wanting to replace the T-stat(Vernatherm) in my 1991 70 HP Rude. On Ishopmarine they show the Vernatherm and then the whole thermostat assembly. Do I just order a new Vernatherm or do I order the T-stat assembly(Which, BTW, looks nothing like I have in there now)? Appreciate...

What is the best way to spice wires?

I have some smaller wires that I want to splice(16-18 Gauge) and was just wondering the best way to do this. I'm not in love with butt connectors, but if they can be sealed watertight(Liquid tape, shrink tape, Ect), would this be the way to go? Some will be exposed to water and some not. Any...

    Regulated or Unregulated

Are all motors with just rectifiers, as opposed to regulator/rectifiers, unregulated charging systems? Such as my 91' 70 rude??

    What's up with T&T??

    Hey Guys

1991 70 HP rude. Was out over the weekend and T&T just quit. No up or down on the water. So I pulled it out onto the trailer and checked to see what was going on and could find nothing wrong. Relay's were clicking and then I applied 12 Volt directly to the T&T motor and up...

    Rectifier lead connections

    Hey all

Should know this, but I am replacing my 3 wire rectifier on my 91' 70HP Rude and the new rectifier did not come with a specific Yellow/Gray wire. Just the Red, and 2 yellow wires. Does it matter which yellow lead I use from the new rectifier to the terminal board wires. Or is...

Is there any sealer that is real fluid and spreads out???

Just wondering if Marine Tex is more fluid than the 3-M product? The reason I ask, is because I have developed a small leak in a seam on the top and in back of the log on my pontoon boat, that would be hard to just put something stiffer on it, as I really can't see where the leak is, due to it...

How many of you decarbed before....

Just curious, how many of you decarbed your motor before you started reading all the post about it on here? I recently started doing it because of the advice on this forum, but for me and others I dealt with, it really was not the norm a few years years back. Never heard anybody mention they...

    Trolling Motor Plug

    Hello all

Does anyone know you makes a good Trolling motor plug(Male) that goes in the floor of the boat? I bought a cheap Attwood brand at Wallyworld and it has corroded to the point that one prong broke off. I was hoping that someone made a Waterproof plug, so that when you closed...

    Hey Guys,

I want to put a Am/FM/CD player in my pontoon boat to replace the old radio/cassette player. I tried putting a new Alpine car stereo in there today(2nd one) and it gets REAL hot and pops an internal breaker until it cools off and resets itself. Then it plays again until it...
