    assist or trim?

    ok so is this the up assist cylinder or the trim cylinder. obviously there is a big price difference between a motor and the whole trim package... i have no clue which it is... but the motor is a 1978 johnson 85 hp seahorse v 4... thanks... ill have more pics of the whole glastron gt 150...

    trim plates on mmotor (outboard)

    ok so two bolts/nuts off and these trim plates that are directly on the motor dont want to come off... im hammering on the studs with the nuts off... shouldnt these damn things just come straight off?? im talking about the ones just above the prop... sorry i cant seem to locate the pictures...

    does anyone know if a boat absolutely has to have a capacity plate installed on it? mine is long gone... just wondering if this is going to be a problem with the authorities?
